Continental Travelnurse has obtained both travel assignments and housing in major urban areas, as well as popular rural and suburban destinations, across England, Scotland, and Wales. Whether you long to be near the bustle of London or the tranquillity of the Lake District, we've got the home for you!

With a small contribution from you, we provide one bedroom in a typically two and sometimes three bedroom flat or house. We pay the bills -- the rent, gas, electric, water, the council tax and even the TV license fee. (Since almost everyone has a mobile phone, telephones are optional and handled by you.) Housing is always located in a nice neighbourhood and as close as possible to the client facility. We even have a few assignments where you can walk to work. The one bill we don’t pay is the telephone. But with the number of providers jumping substantially in the past few years both land lines and mobile phones are easily and reasonably obtained. Typical rates back home to either North America or Australasia are less than 3p a minute.

Understanding that most of our travellers do not have a car in the UK (not to mention the price of petrol), all of our flats are within easy access to public transport. Public transport is safe, clean, and 24 hours a day in most locations

Should you want to bring your spouse, partner or a friend, you can pay for a second room or may opt out to obtain housing by yourself. Almost always a housing allowance is available. And nowadays your spouse or partner can work in the UK as well.
